Another Man Arrested in Connection With Mac Miller's Death

Another man has been arrested in connection with the September 2018 death of Mac Miller.

Lake Havasu City, Arizona resident Ryan Reavis was arrested Tuesday as part of an active case centered on Miller's death, The Arizona Republicreported. During a search of Reavis' home, investigators found a physician’s prescription pad, prescription pills, and other drug paraphernalia. Additionally, investigators discovered the presence of a "personally manufactured" firearm suppressor and "large amounts" of ammunition. These items were confiscated.

The 36-year-old was ultimately charged with fraudulent schemes and artifices, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, weapons misconduct by a prohibited possessor, and manufacture of a prohibited weapon.

News of the arrest comes weeks after it was announced that Cameron James Pettit had been arrested and charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance in connection with Miller's death. Pettit is among those alleged to have distributed "counterfeit pharmaceutical narcotics' containing fentanyl to the late artist, whose father addressed this initial arrest at a memorial event earlier this month.

"So they finally caught the motherfucker that sold him the drugs that killed him," Mark McCormick, Mac Miller's father, said at the time.
