Footage Surfaces of André 3000 in Japan With His Flute in Tow

Three Stacks is known to pop up around the globe with his flute, this time bringing the tradition to the Tochigi region.

We should all aspire to one day live as André 3000 does, fully immersed in The Art Life without caring much about commerce or the oft-unrealistic demands of an audience.

For the latest example of this, we turn to a currently viral clip showing Three Stacks armed with his signature flute in Japan. More specifically, the clip in question—which appears to have originally surfaced via the below Instagram and TikTok accounts—was seemingly captured in the Tochigi area near Tokyo. André, notably, has been confirmed to have been in Japan in recent weeks.

As fans will note, this isn’t the first time 3K and his flute have been at the subject of a widely shared clip. Back in 2019, for example, he was spotted walking around an airport playing the instrument, thus deeply enriching the lives of everyone he encountered.

Atlanta-based fans of André 3000 will also note that the latest flute footage comes following this week’s special OutKast Night event at the Braves’ Truist Park.

As an actor, André Benjamin can currently be seen in the acclaimed A24 entry Showing Up, directed by Kelly Reichardt and starring Michelle Williams. See the trailer below.
