Jeremihfinally delivered his long-awaited and incessantly delayed new album Late Nights on Friday, putting five years of frustrations to rest. However, many were left perplexed by the album's rollout process, particularly in light of those aforementioned delays. 50 Cent, never afraid to speak out on the 'gram, had some pointed words for Def Jam after apparently spending some time with Jeremih at Club Lust:

In addition to calling Def Jam's treatment of Jeremih "so foul," 50 Cent makes the claim that he hasn't seen an album priced at $18.99 "in five years," a pretty damning remark. But does it check out?

As for albums released on the same day as Jeremih's Late Nights, such as new entries from Rick Ross and Coldplay, there's an obvious gap:

Highest in five years? Not quite. Seemingly high for a first-week introductory price? Definitely. Either way, Jeremih's Late Nights is finally out there and the world is better for it.
