Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial continued on Tuesday, complete with a mid-testimony mention of 50 Cent. As frequent Complex readers will note, 50, expectedly, has been an ongoing source of routinely headlined commentary on the trial, which is set to last about eight weeks.

Per reporting from Complex’s Shawn Setaro, who has been in attendance throughout Diddy’s trial, 50 was mentioned during Capricorn Clark’s time on the stand on Tuesday. Clark, for those unfamiliar, is testifying as a former assistant to Diddy. The Bad Boy Records founder has denied the allegations against him in the case.

“Cut, CUT,” 50 wrote on his platform of choice, Instagram, when reacting to Tuesday’s testimony. “Wait a minute. Puffy’s got a gun. I can’t believe this. I don’t feel safe LOL.”

Included in 50’s timely IG update was a screenshot of realtime X updates from Matthew Russell Lee, better known on as Inner City Press. As seen below, Clark testified that Diddy had “a problem with” 50. This remark was made following a question about whether the witness had ever seen Diddy with a gun.

50 has been providing near-daily updates on the goings-on of Diddy’s case since it began in earnest earlier this month. This, of course, follows 50's previous slew of commentary on Diddy’s various legal woes, a topic that dominated his social media activity in 2024.

At one point, 50 was teasing a docuseries tentatively titled Diddy Do It? As of September of this year, the series was reportedly set for a Netflix release, though an official drop date hadn't been announced as of this writing.
