50 Cent Jokingly Claims Diddy Sent Him Flowers to Club: 'What Kinda Gay Sh*t Is This?'

A Diddy spokesperson has denied that the embattled mogul was responsible for the flowers.

If you thought 50 Cent would be cooling it with the constant commentary in light of the release of the Diddy documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which he exec-produced, then you were wrong.

50 has remained as active on social media as ever in recent days, all while coverage on the Alexandria Stapleton-directed Netflix continues to pile up. For the latest example, we have Fif claiming, in a presumably joking manner, that he was sent flowers on behalf of Diddy. To be clear, a rep for the Bad Boy Records founder, who's currently incarcerated at Fort Dix, has since denied involvement with the flower arrangement in question.

“What kinda gay shit is this Diddy send me flowers at club 11 LOL why all the four play [sic] get busy, you know I’m stupid,” 50 wrote when sharing an image of the flowers to Instagram.

When reached for comment, a spokesperson for Diddy told Complex this “didn’t happen,” adding “Perhaps someone played a joke in poor taste.”

The address on the flowers pictured in 50’s IG update is for the E11EVEN club in Miami, where 50 took the stage on Thursday (Dec. 4) for a Miami Art Week event.

Fif had a bit more to say about the flowers on Friday, taking to the comments of his post to add, “A warning, I’m 90s grimy. … you don’t warn me. LOL.”

Sean Combs: The Reckoning has been criticized by Diddy’s reps in multiple statements, plus in a cease-and-desist letter. In response, Netflix has stood behind Stapleton’s film, denying the claims made by the 56-year-old’s team, including an allegation that unauthorized footage was used in the four-part series.

If you’ve yet to watch the doc, or merely need a refresher on what transpired during Diddy’s trial, check out this piece from Complex’s Shawn Setaro.

As these competing narratives have played out in the press, 50 has continued to partake in his oft-headlined approach to social media. Both Dame Dash and Jay-Z have caught strays in the process.
