DJ Khaled had social media in a frenzy again after a doctored clip gained traction.
The hitmaker typically goes viral with funny dance moves, monologues, or memes of himself living his best life. This time he was trending after a poorly edited video circulated purporting to show him twerking in a pool.
DJ Akademiks shared a post of an enthusiastic Khaled jumping into the water, which then cuts to a man who resembles Khaled twerking and hitting the splits underwater. It's set to Danny Towers, DJ Scheme, and Ski Mask the Slump God's "Florida Water" featuring Luh Tyler, which Ak joked was being cosigned by Khaled.
Several MCs and producers—including Rick Ross, Waka Flocka Flame, and Lex Luger—commented on the video with amusement.
"Unfollowing buddy right now 😂😂😂😂," Waka wrote.
Aside from Ski Mask, all the "Florida Water" contributors dropped their own comments accompanied by laughing emojis.
"Appreciate da co-sign," DJ Scheme wrote in all caps.
