On Wednesday night, Worldstar Hip Hop caught a social media post from XXXTentacion that implied he'd be spending some time out of the public eye.
"I'm going to disappear for a little while," the post said. "I love you all."
The post comes just a few weeks after X postponed his upcoming tour. At that time, he posted a now-deleted Instagram message saying that he'd be stepping away from the spotlight after a July 2 concert in his home state of Florida.
In addition to the cancelled tour, the rapper has also been dealing with a beef with Rob Stone that has already turned violent, reports that he punched a fan in the face during a concert, and a complicated series of legal problems, including charges from an October 2016 incident where he allegedly strangled and battered his pregnant ex-girlfriend.
XXXTentacion has not yet offerered any clarification or details about his upcoming disappearance. We will keep you posted as information becomes available.
