For several years, superstar DJ Steve Aoki has been talking with 2 Chainz about collaborating. Back in early 2016, they made it happen. It took a while, but they've finally shared the results with the rest of us. Aoki and Chainz, along with Canadian duo DVBBS, have just released "Without U."
The song will appear on Aoki's upcoming record Kolony, which is being billed as a "hip-hop project." To that end, Aoki is performing next month at JMBLYA Fest in Dallas and Austin alongside rap acts like Gucci Mane, Migos, Chance the Rapper, Young Dolph, 6lack, and more.
This song continues Aoki's string of recent collaborations with rappers. Last year, he teamed with Lil Uzi Vert for "I Can't Lose."
As you might imagine, "Without U" has elements of both the dance and EDM so familiar to Aoki and DVBBS, and hip-hop via an energetic performance from 2 Chainz. You can find the song on pretty much every major service by clicking this link, or you can stream it below via Spotify.
