The Kush God himself is returning—appropriately enough, on 4/20—with a new album, Not for Sale. The record is a follow-up to his 2016 Pete Rock collaboration Don't Smoke Rock. It will feature appearances from Ty Dolla Sign, DRAM, Dom Kennedy, Cozz, and more.
Complex is proud to premiere the first single from Not for Sale. "The Mood," featuring Joey Badass, includes a beat produced by 183rd that nods to Kanye West's work on Scarface's iconic 2002 song "Guess Who's Back."
"This is the mood of the youth.” Smoke emphatically stated to Complex about the tune. “This is the mood of NYC that we cherish and love."
