It looks like the predictions were correct: Migos has landed a number one album on Billboard with the release of their new project Culture. According to Billboard, the album hit the top of the summit with 131,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Feb. 2, according to Nielsen Music.

On Sunday afternoon, Quavo took to Instagram to share the news.

The Atlanta rappers' main competition for the week was country artist Brantley Gilbert. While Gilbert had more physical sales (consistent with the behavior of fans of the genre), when all the streams and other sales equivalents were added up, Migos came out on top. 59 percent of the album's first-week sales number (77,000 of 131,000) was made up of streams. The album sold 44,000 in traditional album sales and earned 10,000 in track equivalent album units. It also arrives as Migos' first No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts, as reported by Billboard.

This is the second time the Atlanta trio has reached the top of the Billboard charts. Last month, their unstoppable single "Bad and Boujee" climbed to the peak of the magazine's Hot 100 chart.
