Watch James Corden's Grammys Opening Monologue

Host James Corden delivered a hysterical opening monologue in rap form.

Host James Corden opened the 59th Grammys with an entertaining monologue that showed off his physical comedy skills...and his rapping.

Instead of a traditional series of jokes, Corden delivered his bit in the form of a rap. His bars touched on Rihanna and Drake's romance, Donald Trump, and even alt-country favorite Sturgill Simpson's surprising Album of the Year nomination. He also took a tumble or two as part of an intentionally chaotic show that simulated a number of accidents. He took a (planned) tumble down some stairs and got "stuck" on a moving stage.

You can watch Corden's entire performance above.
