Freebandz rapper — and brother of superstar FutureFBG Casino has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Casino, real name Rico Deville Buice, was busted last Friday (Nov. 14) along with a co-defendant, David Estevan Montillo Diaz. FBI and DEA agents raided an Airbnb in Forest Park, Georgia. According to prosecutors, Buice attempted to escape out of a side door.

According to authorities, when the agents searched the house, they found 21 kilograms of fentanyl, at least one of which was stamped with a Louis Vuitton logo. They also located $300,000 in a cardboard box, and another $80,000 in a Goyard bag that they believe belongs to Buice — and which appears to match a bag he is seen carrying in a photo on his Instagram account. Buice had an additional $4,000 in his pocket.

Prosecutors say that "the totality of the circumstances here strongly suggest" that Diaz was in the middle of selling the fentanyl to Buice.

“This operation is an example of the power of the Task Force in disrupting deadly drug trafficking operations,” said Paul Brown, Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta. “The seizure of 21 kilograms of fentanyl and over $380,000 in drug proceeds is a direct hit to those who seek to poison our communities. The FBI, in partnership with our law enforcement colleagues, will relentlessly pursue these criminals and hold them accountable.”

Prosecutors are asking for Buice, who is currently in custody, to be held without bail. They cite the severity of the charges (a maximum sentence of life imprisonment or death) and, relatedly, "a serious risk" that he will flee. They also accuse the rapper of "not being forthright" about his finances — telling authorities that he makes $2,166.67 a month as a studio manager, while up until recently living in a residence valued at $4 million, and having three vehicles in his name, including a Mercedes and a BMW.
