Things have not exactly been friendly between Future and Rocko in recent years. Future signed with Rocko's A1 label back in 2011—a contract Rocko claims was breached when Future Hendrix signed with Epic and cut Rocko out of the proceeds. This messy situation led to a still-ongoing multi-million dollar lawsuit (and countersuit) filed last year.

Now, the former friends have taken their beef to the court of social media. Rumors popped up in recent days that the lawsuit was settled, and that Future owed Rocko 50 percent of touring profits for the next two years, as well as royalties from the next two albums. In a Twitter Q&A, Future debunked the "phony story," but not before taking some shots.

"When niggas go broke they do dumb shit," he wrote. "I don’t know what’s going on, but at the end of the day, we making hits, we making history, they want to be part of history you got to do something to tag along. So that’s what it is. Tag along nigga.”

Rocko responded with an Instagram post that seemed, at least on the surface, to be positive.

But that same IG post got a very surprising response, caught by the folks at The Shade Room. Future jumped in, calling Rocko "a con artist."

Rocko responded, sharing some old footage of him coaxing a "camera shy" Future.

No word yet on whether or how this beef is continuing, but we will bring you updates as they happen.
