During her concert at Atlanta's Georgia Dome on Monday night, Beyoncé took a moment to pay tribute to a recently deceased hometown hero, Shawty Lo of D4L. The Atlanta rapper was killed in a car accident on Sept. 21. Bey took a moment to acknowledge his passing by dancing to Shawty's best-known song, "Dey Know."
Fans of both artists were happy and moved to see the tribute.
This was not the only heartwarming moment on Bey's tour. Only a few weeks prior, she arranged a surprise onstage marriage proposal for one of her backup singers.
