In memory of her late grandmother, Clara "Dolly" Braithwaite, Rihanna donated $1.75 million to a hospital in her native country of Barbados. Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown will receive the donation intended to assist research in the radiotherapy department. The center will also be renamed the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine.
