After a series of cryptic 4:44 advertisements have somewhat been explained, a variety of photos and video clips are bringing additional speculation on what Jay Z is up to. Instagram pics and viral, fan-captured videos have surfaced of Hov in Jamaica with Damian Marley and dancehall artist Tarrus Riley. Late Friday, Riley posted a picture featuring himself, Marley, and Jay Z to his Instagram page.

“CLASSIC!!!!! The One and only @damianjrgong Singy an [sic] H.O.V. Jigga Who?” Riley wrote in his caption, while using the hastags #Salute, #RealisReal, #Mr.Marley, #Mr.Riley, and #Mr.Carter.

Additional footage of Hov’s visit to Jamaica included a video featuring Jay enjoying a beer with cricketer Marlon Samuels, and joking about the latter's skill level.

“You nice, right?” Jay joked.

Pictures featuring Jay Z alongside Marley and famed reggae artist Sister Nancy in a recording room in Kingston’s Tuff Gong Studios have sparked unsubstantiated rumors of new music from the legendary rapper. It's also reported he shot a music video during his trip there.

In 2015, Damian Marley joined Jay Z as one of the co-owners of the streaming service Tidal. The news came prior to Marley’s performance at the Tidal X: 1020 concert in Brooklyn, New York.

Last month, Jay Z signed a new 10-year touring deal with Live Nation worth up to $200 million leading some to believe he was re-entering album mode. No news of an upcoming album came with the announcement of Jay Z and Live Nation's renewed partnership.

“Live Nation and I entered unchartered territory in 2008,” Jay said in a statement. “Over nine years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences. Michael Rapino is an industry visionary, and this renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation. For the next 10 years, we will continue redefining the live event landscape.”
