SZA’s Ctrl debuted as the No. 3 album in the country during the week of July 1, and the single “Love Galore,” is currently at the No. 33 spot on Billboard magazine’s “Hot 100” singles chart.
Reality star-turned rapper Cardi B is living her best life and enjoying the fruits of a gold-selling single with “Bodak Yellow”—namely performing slots on the MTV VMAs, Made in America, and the No. 3 spot on the “Hot 100.”
Cardi B and SZA appear to be members of the mutual appreciation society, with SZA having spotted a viral clip of Cardi B crooning along to “Love Galore” the way fans of TDE’s first lady have been doing all summer. We know SZA has already dropped hints about a deluxe version of Ctrl being on the way, but could there also be a chance of Cardi B blessing “Love Galore” with some bars for a remix? It looks like SZA is down for the collaboration.
“Iss time for an official remix dammit,” SZA tweeted, while reposting Cardi’s clip.
Both artists’ collective fan bases are putting the proverbial Bat Signal in the air to make this happen, with a number of Twitter users dropping in SZA’s mentions to show their approval.
