Rumors swirled the week leading up to the VMAs that the LEMONADE artist would perform a selection of songs from her latest album; the Los Angeles Timesreported that she'd been in "top secret rehearsals" all week leading up to Sunday's show. It'll already be a big night for Beyoncé, who's nominated for a whopping 11 awards, including Video of the Year, Best Pop Video, Best Choreography, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.

Outside of Madison Square Garden, the site of the awards, MTV began promoting Beyoncé's performance with a billboard-sized image of the pop icon.

She'll join other big names like Rihanna, Britney Spears, Future, Nick Jonas, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ariana Grande in performing.

The MTV Video Music Awards begins at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
