Yung Miami is reflecting on the impact her relationship with Diddy has had on her career and personal life, revealing that the fallout seeped into her personal life.
During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, the City Girls rapper was asked directly whether her association with Diddy had cost her anything tangible, which she confirmed.
According to Yung Miami, her relationship affected her financially and professionally, resulting in a noticeable decline in opportunities offered to her. She also says she lost a lot of relationships. The experience, she admitted, has been difficult to navigate.
"It just, it was a lot. Like, I lost deals, I lost money, I lost relationships. I lost a lot, and, you know," she said.
Still, despite the backlash, she stood firm in her stance on Diddy. Earlier in the conversation, Yung Miami said her loyalty comes from her personal experiences with people, emphasizing that Diddy has treated her well and played a significant role in changing her life.
“I feel like people can have opinions, but I can only judge a person off of what I know and what I experience,” she said. “Like, I can’t speak on nothing that I never was a part of, that I never knew. I can only judge who I met. I can only judge who I was in a relationship with.”
Yung Miami also addressed whether she was concerned about being pulled into the legal proceedings, offering a direct response suggesting the prospect didn't shake her.
“I never hid nothing, I don’t have nothing to hide,” she said.
Diddy, once one of the most influential figures in entertainment, has faced intense scrutiny following his legal troubles. After being hit with multiple charges, including sex trafficking, he was ultimately convicted on two counts related to transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution, while being cleared of other charges. He is currently serving a prison sentence, and his standing in the industry has taken a major hit.
