Taylor Swift has topped the Billboard 200 again with her recently released album, Speak Now (Taylor's Version), which grabbed the No. 1 spot and the biggest week of 2023.

According to Billboard, Swift's re-recording of Speak Now moved 716,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S., with 507,000 copies being traditional album sales. Both numbers gave Swift the largest week for any album in 2023 and the best debut since her last studio album, Midnights, which debuted with 1.58 million units.

Speak Now (Taylor's Version) also gave the singer her twelfth No. 1 album overall, surpassing Barbara Streisand for the most chart-topping albums among women artists. Swift currently has four albums in the top 10 on the Billboard 200, including Midnights, Lover, and Folklore.

Swift is the first person to achieve that rare feat since American trumpeter Herb Alpert did it in 1966 with Going Places landing at No. 2, Whipped Cream & Other Delights at No. 3, South of the Border at No. 9, and The Lonely Bull at No. 10. Prince was the only other act to do the same thing when five of his albums landed in the top 10 following his death in 2016.

Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is a re-recorded version of her 2010 No. 1 album Speak Now. The 22-track re-recorded version has new recordings of the original's 14 songs, including bonus cuts and previously unreleased "From the Vault" recordings. The album is Swift's third re-recording to go No. 1 after she did the same with Red and Fearless in 2021.
