Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys' son Genesis wasn't going to let anyone throw something at his mother while she performed at a concert recently.
The legendary Ruff Ryders producer took to his Instagram on Monday with a carousel of footage of his wife's performance and their 8-year-old standing beside her. In one of the photos, Swizz said his son was aware of all the incidents of people throwing cell phones and other random items during shows and made it clear with the look on his face that wasn't going to happen.
"He heard how people been acting at shows lately," Swizz Beatz wrote on a picture of his son and wife with crying-laughing emojis attached. "My boy serious in real life."
He continued in the caption of his post, "My boy said I'm not playing no games on moms stage 😂😂😂😂 He a real serious one 😂 Thank you Gen we love you and your protection 😂 He didn't care she was live on stage 😂😂😂😂."
Several of Swizz and Alicia's friends chimed in the comment section letting the family know how funny the moment was to them.

Joey Badass also wrote, "Yo king I'm crying 😂😂😂😂😂." Tracee Ellis Ross added, "@therealswizzz this is so hilarious and also not funny at all. People have lost their minds."

Last week, Alicia Keys shared a video on Instagram where Genesis had an issue with the outfit she was going to wear for a performance. He didn't like how her top could possibly expose her breasts, but Alicia explained to him that wouldn't happen.
"Genesis was not a fan of my pasties 🤣🤣," she captioned the post. "There is NOTHING like a hometown show. Brooklyn, I felt every part of your love."
