Atlanta producer Sonny Digital is speaking out after thieves allegedly broke into his recording studio and robbed him of musical equipment.

The hitmaker took to social media in a pair of videos to share what he described as a burglary at his studio, explaining that multiple keyboards and other essential recording gear were taken.

The clips were later deleted but were reposted by DJ Akademiks, drawing widespread attention from fans and fellow artists.

Visibly upset in the videos, Sonny Digital expressed disbelief over the situation, saying the loss hit harder on a personal level than a financial one. He emphasized that while he plans to replace the stolen items, the violation of his space was what frustrated him most.

"Yesterday, some bum ass n****s came in her and stole all my keyboards, all my equipment and shit," he said. "Shit so crazy because I look out for everybody so much man. Don't worry about the materials, I'm going to get this sh*t back. It's just the principle of it, though, you know what I'm saying?"

The producer urged his followers to be on the lookout for anyone attempting to sell studio keyboards or similar equipment online. He asked fans to alert him if they spot anything suspicious, or even purchase the items, if possible, so he can track down those responsible.

Despite the setback, Sonny Digital made it clear he isn’t backing down, directly addressing the thief or thieves in a heated message and demanding accountability for the robbery. It was unclear at the time of writing whether local authorities had identified any suspects.

The incident came as an unfortunate start to 2026 for the 34-year-old, who has been one of Atlanta’s most influential producers over the past decade. Sonny has built a decorated résumé, crafting hits for artists such as 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Beyoncé, Don Toliver, Vince Staples, and Future.
