Quando Rondo has taken a major step toward completing his federal sentence after being transferred out of prison and into community confinement in Atlanta.
According to records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Savannah rapper, whose legal name is Tyquian Bowman, is currently assigned to RRM Atlanta, a Residential Reentry Management facility that oversees halfway house placements throughout parts of Georgia and South Carolina. Records show Bowman, 27, is scheduled for full release on Nov. 11, 2026.
The move marks the beginning of the final phase of Quando Rondo's sentence after he spent approximately 15 months behind bars. The rapper was originally sentenced to 33 months in federal prison after pleading guilty in a drug conspiracy case.
His transition to a halfway house comes shortly after his sentence was reduced by five months in May, allowing him to enter community-based supervision earlier than initially expected.
Federal Bureau of Prisons records no longer list Bowman at Edgefield Federal Correctional Institution in South Carolina, where he had been serving his sentence. Instead, his status now reflects placement under RRM Atlanta, which supervises residential reentry centers and helps individuals transition back into society as they near the end of their federal sentences.
When reached for comment by Complex, a BOP rep confirmed that Quando Rondo was transferred from Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Edgefield and into community confinement on May 27.
“Community confinement means the inmate is in either home confinement or a Residential Reentry Center (RRC, or halfway house),” the rep added, further clarifying that his projected release date, as mentioned above, is indeed Nov. 11 of this year.
Located in Atlanta, the facility oversees halfway house placements across northern, middle, and southern Georgia as well as South Carolina. The office is responsible for determining placements and monitoring individuals during the reentry process.
The Georgia rapper first rose to prominence with songs such as "I Remember" featuring Lil Baby, and later became one of the most recognizable artists associated with YoungBoy Never Broke Again's Never Broke Again label.
