Nicki Minaj is celebrating her son Papa Bear's fourth birthday with a special tribute post on Instagram.
On Monday, Nicki hopped on Instagram with a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos and videos of Papa Bear throughout the years. Papa Bear is seen hanging out with his dad, Kenneth Perry, in some of the photos and in other clips, he's in his world, playing with friends or at home watching TV. In her caption to Papa Bear, Nicki stated that he's made his parents so happy while showing the rapper a "whole new meaning to life."
"Dear #PapaBear, Happy 4th birthday, buddy," Nicki wrote. "You've made mama & daddy so happy. Since you were in mama's tummy, you gave me a whole new meaning to life. Hope. May God watch over you always & guide your path. No weapon formed against you will prosper. In Jesus name we pray. Amen."
Nicki and Perry welcomed Papa Bear on Sept. 30, 2020, in Los Angeles, however, she didn't share him with the world until three weeks later. The rapper tends to keep her family life private as she has yet to reveal Papa Bear's real name.
Nicki briefly opened the door on her family life when she recently shared a motherly anecdote with Rihanna who shared footage of her own son RZA climbing out of his playpen. The Queens native retweeted RiRi's video and claimed Papa Bear went through several playpens trying to escape.
"Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiii who are you TELLING???!!!!!! I've literally had to learn 3 new sports!!! Help! handsome self," Nicki caption her retweet of Rihanna's post. "Papa Bear flattened 3 playpens before we gave up on it. They have super human strength & brains and will find away around any & everything."
