Justin Bieber has another platinum album under his belt

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) officially certified Bieber's seventh studio album, SWAG, Platinum on June 26 after the project surpassed 1 million equivalent units sold in the United States.

The milestone marks another commercial victory for Bieber, whose surprise album after a four-year hiatus quickly became one of the year's biggest releases.

Released as Bieber's first full-length project since 2021's Justice, SWAG debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 before climbing to the top of Billboard's Top Streaming Albums and Top R&B Albums charts.

The album also shattered personal streaming records for the pop star, generating 74.3 million streams on Spotify worldwide during its first 24 hours, his biggest streaming debut to date.

Leading the project was "Daisies," which emerged as the album's breakout hit and helped fuel its early chart success.

Beyond the commercial numbers, SWAG was the first project after the singer gained full ownership of his master recordings and began operating independently following the end of his longtime management relationship with Scooter Braun.

Bieber continued the album's momentum with Swag Live From Coachella (Weekend I), a live performance project celebrating his return to the stage after an extended break from touring.

The Platinum milestone also arrives as Bieber continues expanding the SWAG era. Following the album's success, he released Swag II, a deluxe edition featuring new music and additional collaborations, extending the project's life and keeping fans engaged months after the original surprise release.
