Justin Bieber gave fans an unexpected hip-hop moment during his livestream last night, flawlessly tapping into Eminem’s catalog by rapping the Detroit legend’s verse from “Forgot About Dre.”

The pop superstar surprised viewers while streaming on Twitch from his massive warehouse rehearsal space, where he’s been regularly going live as he prepares for his upcoming 2026 Coachella headlining set. With friends dancing nearby and the camera rolling, Bieber grabbed the mic and launched into Eminem’s rapid-fire verse from the Dr. Dre classic, keeping pace with the notoriously fast delivery despite stumbling over a few lines.

“So what do you say to somebody you hate / Or anyone tryna bring trouble your way?” Bieber rapped before continuing through the early bars of the verse, drawing instant reactions from fans watching live. Bieber also performed a rendition of Eminem's "Superman" track.

“Forgot About Dre” originally appeared on Dr. Dre’s 1999 album 2001 and became one of the most iconic collaborations in hip-hop history. The song entered the Billboard Hot 100 in early 2000 and peaked at No. 25, later enjoying renewed attention when Dre and Eminem reunited to perform it during the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022.

The Eminem tribute also aligns with Bieber’s recent musical direction. The singer returned with his R&B-leaning album SWAG, released on July 11. Fans digging through the 21-track project noticed Eminem listed as a composer and lyricist on the song “Yukon.” The credit stems from Bieber interpolating a lyric originally used by Eminem on his 2010 Recovery deluxe track “Untitled,” rather than a traditional collaboration or guest appearance.

Bieber’s livestream performance is the latest glimpse into his rehearsal process ahead of Coachella, where he’s set to headline the 2026 festival alongside Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G. Over the past several weeks, the singer has consistently gone live to show fans his progress, blending music practice with casual moments inside the sprawling space.

The warehouse itself has become part of the attraction, featuring lounge seating, a basketball hoop, a skate ramp, and play areas for Bieber’s 1-year-old son, Jack Blues.
