Rymir Satterthwaite, the man who has long claimed to be the biological son of Jay-Z, may have dropped his latest lawsuit against the rap mogul, but he insists his battle is far from over.

Earlier this week, Satterthwaite dropped his lawsuit against the music mogul he's been pursuing since 2010. Satterthwaite has alleged that Jay is his biological father, saying Hov has refused to take a paternity test while also using his legal muscle to suppress the case.

After dropping the lawsuit, Satterthwaite took to on Instagram Live on Friday (July 25) and clarified that he wasn't accepting a settlement, but rather executing a strategic move.

"I have not stopped my fight. I did withdraw my case, but it's for a reason. It's not because I'm stopping it or I'm going to refile. It's just a lot going on behind closed doors [...] I have not gotten any DNA test. I have not gotten a settlement. It is not over," he said during his livestream.

Jay-Z's legal team responded to the allegations just two weeks before the latest dismissal. In a statement, his attorneys condemned the filings as a "decades-long harassment campaign," calling the claims "fabricated" and "rejected."

The allegations, which Jay has repeatedly shot down, recently gained new attention after Nicki Minaj discussed the case on X as part of her escalating feud with Roc Nation. 50 Cent has also chimed in on the matter, as it was rumored that he was assisting Satterthwaite in his case.

"Yo I never met this kid and I'm not helping him with anything, keep my name out of this sh!t please," Fifty wrote in a caption on Instagram.
