Jack Harlow had quite an interesting fan reaction during a recent live performance in Paris, France, per TMZ.
On Thursday, the Louisville native took the stage at the Global Citizen's Power Our Planet concert in the City of Lights to perform a medley of his hits. As any other artist would do during a show, Harlow wanted the audience to help him introduce one of his biggest songs, but it didn't seem to turn out the way he wanted it to.
In the live stream of the performance, Harlow recited the opening lyrics of his hit record "First Class," where he rapped, "I been a..." and wanted the crowd to finish the rest. However, the crowd didn't seem to know the lyrics as they cheered but didn't recite the rest of the words. Harlow tried it again before the song finally played, and the crowd erupted once the beat rang through the speakers.
Despite the Parisian crowd's lackluster reaction, "First Class" is still Harlow's biggest hit. The song sampled Fergie and Ludacris's 2006 hit "Glamorous" and was a force on TikTok, earning over 420,000 sales in its opening week, along with 54.6 million streams.
It also grabbed the No. 1 spot for the first time on the U.S. charts in April 2022. The track appeared on Jack Harlow's sophomore effort Come Home The Kids Miss You, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in its first week, moving around 113,000 total album-equivalent units. The album boasts features from Drake, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and Lil Wayne.
