Gloria Velez opened up about her turbulent encounters with Remy Ma, recalling a series of heated confrontations that spanned several years.

In a recent interview with VladTV, Velez detailed how rivalry and jealousy in the female rap industry fueled tensions and how one altercation nearly turned deadly. Velez explained that competition among women in the music industry often creates conflict.

"In our industry, they feel like there should be just one female in the game, you know, and they put us against each other," she said, reflecting on early conflicts with fellow rapper Trina. "Later we made up, you know, she apologized and she's mad cool."

However, her clashes with Remy Ma, she said, were far more intense. According to Velez, Remy was a "bully" and a lot of women were afraid of her. She described a birthday party where tensions boiled over, explaining how Remy flashed a firearm in her direction.

"She was there, kept looking at me, and she just flashed her little pistol and kept, you know, swaying it. I'm just like, 'That's not at me, right?'" One of Velez's friends intervened and took the gun from Remy, preventing immediate violence. Things escalated after Velez's then-boyfriend went to jail, leaving her as a perceived target in the industry.

During that time, Velez said she bumped into Remy again and they finally came to blows when the rapper threatened the model's son.

"When she says, 'I know where your son goes to school,' I just saw red. That's it. You're threatening my child now. That's when I threw the punch and I started wailing on her. I saw red," Velez recounted the chaotic brawl that involved friends, Playboy models, and Remy's entourage. "I'm already in motion. Remy comes and my boy's like, 'Remy's back. Like, what you going to do?' And I was like, 'All right.' We just started going at it. I whip her. I rip her jewelry off. I start stomping her with my boots 'cause I had high heel boots on."

Despite the violence, Velez said the altercations eventually cooled. She noted that some of the people involved later apologized, and that she has not had contact with Remy Ma in years.

"Never saw her after that ever. I pray that she changes. It didn't look like she changed much, you know, the way she talks on the internet. Like, I don't know that she learned much in her jail time."
