Gayle King has given her thoughts regarding Megan Thee Stallion lying about having sex with Tory Lanez during their interview back in 2022.
Earlier this week, the veteran journalist shared a post on her Instagram where she reflected on Meg’s admission as well as the rapper calling her a “bitch.” According to King, she’s taking the high road and has no issue with Meg, stating she’s going to continue supporting her.
“Hey, I’m just sitting here, minding my own business, and people are reaching out to me saying, ‘Hey Gayle, Megan Thee Stallion just called you a bitch,'” said King. “Well, I know you’re expecting me, or maybe you’re thinking I have something negative to say. I do not….I have nothing but great, great love and respect for Megan Thee Stallion, and cheering her on always.”
In her new documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, Meg admitted she was involved with Tory and questioned why King asked any questions about their relationship.
“Yes, bitch, I lied to Gayle King, bitch,” said Meg in the documentary. “First of all, I didn’t know that bitch was gon’ even ask me about that shit, we supposed to be talking about this shooting, why is you asking me about fucking Tory?”
She continued, “That’s not what this is about. Even if it was, I fucked this n***a like once, maybe twice, on a drunk night. Bitch kept catching me out of my fucking mind.”
In addition to releasing the documentary, Megan unleashed Megan: Act II, an expansion of her Megan album that was released in June. Assisting Megan on the album are Flo Milli, Twice, Spiritbox, and RM.
