Firerose has released a statement regarding the leaked conversation where her estranged husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, reprimanded her aggressively.
On Friday, Firerose hopped on her Instagram Story to address the wild conversation between her and Cyrus, during which the 62-year-old appeared to let out all his anger on his estranged wife. According to the singer-songwriter, she was grateful for all the love she received from fans regarding the situation while highlighting the resources available to aid with healing.
"This week has been monumental in many ways and I'm so appreciative and thankful for the outpouring of support," said Firerose. "There are so many great experts, books & resources on healing. I promise there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep educating yourself. Dr Ramani is a great place to start @doctorramani @healing.after.a.narcissist @covert_narcissist_info."
Rose's statement comes after audio allegedly featuring Cyrus and Rose arguing found its way to the internet. The argument was about Cyrus showing up late to an event, which a source claimed was a Nicki Minaj concert in Tennessee that she invited Cyrus to as a special guest.
The man could be heard calling the woman an "idiot," a "fucking selfish bitch" as well as telling her to "shut the fuck up." Meanwhile, the woman told the man to "stop screaming" at her. Following the release of the audio, Cyrus released a statement earlier this week where he implied the leaked audio was of him and Rose while also revealing what he found out about her.
"Hell yeah, I was at my wit's end. As every day went by, I started realizing something was wrong. And that's before I knew she was a fraud," he wrote in his Instagram Stories. "I just knew something wasn't right. That was before I knew she was David Hodges' ex-wife. That's before I knew her parents' last name. I had no idea she was arrested for felony residential burglary."
He added, "I saw before my very own eyes, everything I thought I knew about her was a lie. She was trying to take over my career, my life and usurp the Cyrus name for her own gain. See you in court."
Cyrus and Rose got married in 2023, but he filed for divorce in May 2024, citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct. He's also looking to get the marriage annulled based on fraud.
