Eric Andre recalled a time when he blew any chance of pursuing Madonna because he wasn't confident enough to text her back.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian explained how Madonna slid into his DMs after he mooned the crowd during one of her shows in Los Angeles last month. The 66-year-old singer found the stunt hilarious and reached out to Andre, but he got cold feet.
"Madonna has a bit of a crush on me. Not to brag," said Andre as he began unbuttoning his shirt and rubbing his nipple. "She slid in my DMs [...] I don't want to put her on Front Street, but you know, there was a little bit of chemistry between us. It was some flirtation [...] I'm way too intimidated by Madonna, that's the Queen of Pop, you can't just waltz in there."
He added, "You got to come in roses, you gotta play Boyz II Men, you gotta drip chocolate candles [...] she slept with 2Pac and [Jean-Michel] Basquiat, you gotta bring your A game [...] I had interest, and my sister called me, and she goes, 'You need to bang Madonna, and I'm not taking no as an answer,' and she hung up on me."
Andre closed out his story by stating he will now have the confidence to hit up Madonna and have sex with her on Kimmel's work desk. Kimmel couldn't do anything but joke that Andre knows "how to romance a lady."
Speaking of Madonna's relationship with 2Pac, Rosie Perez recently revealed how she helped bring the two together. According to Perez, 2Pac accompanied her to an award show after she was stood up by her date, and Madonna saw them together, which led to her asking what the deal was.
"She came up to me and she was like, 'Yo, what's up? Y'all are together?'" she said. "I said, 'No,' she goes, 'Really?' I go, 'Yeah,' she goes, 'Hook me up.' I said, 'You got it.'"
