Drake has joined forces with NHL legend Wayne Gretzky for the latest OVO collection titled "The Great One."

On Thursday, Jan. 2, Drizzy's October's Very Own clothing brand shared several posts on its Instagram page promoting the drop. The posts included pictures of Gretzky wearing one of the varsity jackets and various items from the collection, such as hoodies, crewnecks, tees and more.

"October's Very Own and The Gretzky Hockey School are pleased to announce a continued partnership—Celebrating the Great One's legacy and passion for the game by shaping the next generation of hockey's brightest stars. —Be Great.," read one of the posts.

The "October's Very Own x The Great One" collection is available now on the brand's official website. This is the second time Drizzy and Gretzky teamed up for a campaign, the first link happening in 2022 when the hockey legends' family posed in the brand's signature black and gold owl hoodie.

"The Great One" label is the nickname that hockey fans, coaches and commentators alike call Gretzky, who spent 20 years in the NHL and won four Stanley Cup trophies. Gretzky also holds the NHL record for most goals in a season at 92, most assists in a season at 163, most career points at 2,857, and more.

Drake recently had some bars on a new freestyle titled "Fighting Irish" that fans think were aimed at LeBron James. In the song, Drake makes several interesting references that have ties to LeBron, such as the name of his old high school basketball team, a watch with an Arabic dial that he's worn in the past and more.
