Drake had to playfully check his dad, Dennis Graham, for thinking he doesn't listen to him whenever he speaks to him.

On Friday, Drizzy shared a video post on his Instagram of himself and Mr. Graham sharing the stage to sing a song during his birthday party at Imagen Venues in Houston, Texas. The rapper introduced his pops who went ahead and started singing T-Bone Walker's 1947 song, "Stormy Monday" while his son helped out on a few verses.

After his father finished his rendition of the blues classic, Drake took over and sang a verse of Bobby Blue Band's "Double Trouble." In the caption, the Canadian star made it clear to his dad that he's been paying attention to him all along, adding that Dennis Graham is his "favorite singer of all time."

"My dad thinks I haven't been listening to him when he's been singing his old ass songs for 30 years straight but he's my favorite singer of all time so I know all the words 😂😂😂I love ya Dennis James @therealdennisg," wrote Drake.

The father-son duo did something similar weeks before the party when they visited the Toronto jazz club Reservoir Lounge and crashed musician Shane Philips' set. While Philips performed, Drake and his dad got on stage, taking turns singing "Stormy Monday."

For those unaware, Drake's dad is a drummer who once played with Jerry Lee Lewis, while his uncles are Larry Graham of Sly and the Family Stone and Teenie Hodges.
