Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran were seen sharing a laugh at Coachella, several years after a judge granted her a restraining order against him.

On Saturday, cameras caught Brown and Tran talking to one another at the annual music festival before they both began laughing.

This link-up happened nearly a decade after Tran got a restraining order against Brown. At the time, Tran accused Brown of hitting her, and threatening to "beat the shit" out of her.

Tran was awarded a five-year restraining order that has since been fulfilled. Even though there was a restraining order between them, Brown made his presence felt, especially when it came to interacting with people who were seen hanging out with Tran.

Brown most famously called out Quavo, who at the time was rumored to be hanging out with Tran. The two engaged in a scathing back-and-forth that included a number of diss tracks. Tran responded to the feud in a conversation with TMZ, saying she was minding her business.

"I don't feel. It is what it is. I'm living my life," she said at the time. "Working, paying my bills, taking time for myself and that's all that matters. Whatever else is going on, I ain't got nothing to do with it [...] I'm living a peaceful life, that's all I want."
