50 Cent has shared a cryptic message that many fans have interpreted as a warning shot aimed at Fabolous, Jim Jones, Maino and Dave East.

On Saturday (December 27), the G-Unit mogul took to Instagram to share a reflective and forward-looking message — but with an apparent edge.

"Let’s toast to success, health, and prosperity," Fif wrote. "I’m planning my new year. When I’m done, I’ll come out to play. You know everyone who plays with me wishes they didn’t in the end."

The post was accompanied by an edited image of 50 posing as Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in The Great Gatsby, lifting a glass in a celebratory toast, an image long associated with quiet menace disguised as confidence.

While 50 didn’t mention anyone by name, and the post could be read as a general statement about entering the new year, many fans quickly connected it to a recent freestyle by Fabolous, Jim Jones, Maino and Dave East.

A few days prior to Fif's post, the Let’s Rap About It podcast hosts released a freestyle that appeared to take aim at the "In Da Club" rapper. The track used one of 50’s instrumentals, referenced him throughout the verses, and was titled "Squatter’s Rights," a clear nod to the "squatter" accusations 50 has previously lobbed at the group online.

The podcast crew’s decision to rap over 50’s beats and reference him directly revived a long-running back-and-forth that has largely played out on social media rather than in music releases.

In previous comments, Maino downplayed the friction, describing the public sparring as mutually beneficial and good for visibility. The others, particularly Jim Jones, have had varying degrees of tension with 50 over the years, often flaring up and cooling off without a clear resolution.

For now, it remains unclear whether 50 Cent plans to respond directly or let the moment pass. Given his history, fans know that silence doesn’t always mean the feud is finished.
