If an electro fanatic that's new to deep house and techno, the remix of UK-based minimal electro trio The Acid's single "Ghost" by Maya Jane Coles showcases everything that makes her one of the superstars in dance's deep end. With a surgical precision, she locates the track's throbbing electric core and builds a remix that features a number of approaches near that energy without compromising it's original feel. Thumping, groove-friendly drums slide comfortably into the track's low end, while melodic and vocal lines thread themselves through ambient silence to underscore the track's title and well-apparent theme. Coles' remix is the first in a series of remixes of "Ghost" that The Acid are unleashing.
