After dropping his new single “Never End Up Broke” in July, Symba has linked with Pusha T for the track’s follow-up, “Never End Up Broke Pt. 2.”

“Never End Up Broke Pt. 2” premiered on Zane Lowe’s World First radio program on Wednesday, and finds Pusha T treading familiar waters as he reminisces on his broke days as a cocaine drug dealer over Dr. Dre and Dem Jointz key-driven, disjointed instrumental.

The continuation of “Never End Up Broke” will appear on Symba’s forthcoming project DJ Drama Presents: Results Take Time (A Gangsta Grillz Special Edition), which drops Sep. 16. The project will also include the Bay Area rapper’s previous singles “Don’t Condone 2” and “GOAT,” which Symba performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

While Symba may still be unknown to some, he’s received some major co-signs these past few years from Fabolous, Dr. Dre, 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, LeBron James, and most recently The Game, who brought Symba out to show him love during his Drillmatic album release party in July.

“I want you to pick up y’all phones because if you did not know who the fuck he was before you came in here,” The Game said to the crowd. “I’m telling you. This is that n***a.”

The 29-year-old lyricist dropped off his debut mixtape Don’t Run From R.A.P. in 2020 with Atlantic Records, which featured appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Moneybagg Yo, OT Genasis and Too $hort, among others. In an interview with Billboard at the time, he said he plans to make sure everyone knows his name these next few years.

“I plan on becoming a household name in every way,” he told the outlet. “By being consistent with my music, consistent with my message, and touching the people. You can never go wrong when you create good music. But what’s more important than the music, to me, is making sure the people who are listening know that I’m just like them. I have the same ups and downs in life as everyone else on this planet. I am not any different, I just chose rap as my diary.”

After the release of DJ Drama Presents: Results Take Time (A Gangsta Grillz Special Edition), Symba plans to hit the road on his first major nationwide tour alongside Joyner Lucas, and will also take the stage at Rolling Loud New York.
