Nardo Wick has returned and this time he brought friends.
The 19-year-old MC out of Jacksonville has seen a massive amount of success from his hit single “Who Want Smoke?” and now the young rap star has unveiled a new version titled “Who Want Smoke??” that features Lil Durk, 21 Savage, and G Herbo. All three featured artists have expressed their support for the young MC, with Durk and Lil Baby even bringing Nardo out to perform his viral record at their tour stop in Orlando, Florida.
A new Cole Bennett-directed Lyrical Lemonade music video for the track featuring all four artists is available to watch up top. While Nardo hasn’t said anything in regards to a release date for his debut project Who Is Nardo Wick? this A-list version is sure to make heads turn if they haven’t already. The original “Who Want Smoke?” has over 60 million streams and has continued to gain momentum since its release in January.
Wick sat down with Complex back in June to talk more about the track. “I thank God that he gave me this brain because I know a lot of people don’t have the mind discipline that I have,” he said. As ominous and intense as “Who Wants Smoke?” may be, Nardo says he wants to make “chill music” that people can also vibe to in their car. “When I’m in the car, I don’t always want to turn up,” he said. “I want to learn how to make chill music. If I learn how to make that type of music, it won’t sound like anything else because my voice is so different.”
