Read Lil Wayne's Apology to Emmett Till's Family

Lil Wayne has finally addressed his controversial lyric from Future's "Karate Chop (Remix)" referencing Emmett Till, a 14-year-old African American boy who was beaten and killed in 1955 for whistling at a white woman in Mississippi. The lyric, "Beat the pu**y up like Emmett Till,was pulled by Epic Records from the remix in February.

The Till family, however, has pushed for Mountain Dew to drop Lil Wayne. Wayne finally issued the family a written apology which you can read in full below:
