Earlier this month, we released our Best Songs and Best Albums of 2015 lists, respectively.

As usual, these year-end lists get people charged up. How could we put Rae Sremmurd's Sremmlife at No. 3 on our list?! Do they even write their own rhymes?! Where's the real hip-hop?! So, in light of all the surrounding controversy of the lists we argue over for weeks, we had an idea: ask the artists.

What does Junglepussy love listening to while getting dressed up? Who is Ty Dolla $ign checking for these days? And what's Lil Durk's favorite song of the year? Here's part three (of five installments) of your favorite artists listing their favorite songs of 2015 and why.

Check out part one and part two now.

Joey Fatts

Skrillex and Diplo f/ Justin Bieber, "Where Are Ü Now"

"When my girls start acting up, I dedicate this to them and it works every time."

dylAn

Hudson Mohawke, "Forever 1" (Cashmere Cat edit)

"The chords and sounds in my mind generate a lot of color and imagination; the progression and structure of the song is very inventive and innovative. I love Cashmere Cat and worked with him in the studio once."

RickyEatAcid

Vince Staples, "Summertime"

"Every part of it is just 'right,' every nuance in that beat and melody and it's both the most necessary thing in the middle of that record but also a perfect standalone track. There's so much shit that's come out this year that I just completely adore it's hard to choose but I come back to that more than any other and I'm sure I will for a very long time."

Junglepussy

Selena Gomez f/ A$AP Rocky, "Good For You"

"I love, love songs that remind me of myself. I'm really into looking good for me everyday."

Slug Christ

Future, "Purple Coming In"

"So forward thinking in its construction, melodic yet dissonant, kinda like the drug relationships that fueled its creation."

Reese

Kodak Black, "SKRT"

"I fuck with it tough because there hasn't been a fye ass artist out of Florida in a minute and he reminds me of the Hot Boys in there younger days, 'Get It How U Live Hot Boys when they all had little fros."

Kami of SaveMoney

Future, "March Madness"

"The second verse starts off way too real, 'Fuck on a basic bitch/We gon wake up and smoke us a blunt and fuck/She gon keep it so real with a nigga that/I'mma come back and always gon fuck with her.' I remember this shit being our soundtrack at SXSW and it being a great time."

Chilly Gonzales

Ratatat, "Abrasive"

"It hits my sweet spot of timeless instrumental mastery and poker-faced modernity. My runner up is '39 Bars' by Katie Got Bandz."

LIZ

Carly Rae Jepsen, "Run Away With Me"

"First of all, kudos to Carly Rae for putting together one of the catchiest, tasteful pop albums of the year. This song happens to be my favorite track because it makes me feel like I'm speeding down PCH in a white jeep on the way to my high school boyfriend's house... and when the chorus kicks in, I take my hands off of the steering wheel and let me hair blow in the wind like I'm a 'good girl-gone rebel chick' in a John Hughes film. It's just a major explosion of heart emojis in my brain."

Tate Kobang

Young Thug, "Best Friend"

"I love everything about it from the melodies to production. Young Thug is my favorite artist."

Ty Dolla $ign

Madeintyo, “I Want (Skr Skr)”

“Because it got the sauce.”

DVS

Gin Wigmore, "Written In The Water Die Regardless"

"'Written In The Water' isn't the best Gin Wigmore joint but it IS the best Gin Wigmore joint of 2015 and she's the illest thing i discovered this year. She's an Australian/Kiwi pop star who sings like a witch and most of her songs are about being dead. You can see why I'd fux with that. If you don't fuck with one of her songs, you'll find two more that you love. She does like EVERY style of pop, she got jazz-jammers, Lil Aerosmiths, wild west kill-em-ups, she's got it all."

Mack Maine

Ed Sheeran, "Thinking Out Loud"

ProbCause

Hurt Everybody f/ Mick Jenkins and Twista, "Stay Awake"

2k47 mixtape which dropped earlier in the year. It's also cool to see different generations of Chicago music supporting each other."]" data-sheets-userformat="[null,null,13057,[null,0],null,null,null,null,null,null,null,4,0,null,null,"Arial",11]">"Damn it's really hard to pick my favorite song of the year cause so much amazing music came out. 'Stay Awake' by Hurt Everybody, Mick Jenkins, and Twista is one of my favorites that may have went under some peoples radar. It's off Hurt Everybody's 2k47 mixtape which dropped earlier in the year. It's also cool to see different generations of Chicago music supporting each other."

Psalm One

A$AP Rocky, "Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2"

"This song sounds nothing like the rest of his second commercial effort, and it's trap gold. Simple yet complicated, with a layered hook that demands your bounce and lyrics that are as effortless as they are cunning, 'LPFJ2' is easily one of my favorite of 2015."

Trae Tha Truth

Future, "March Madness"

"It's like it's brand new every time I hear it... Powerful feel."

Bobby Brackins

Jeremih f/ J. Cole, "Planes"

"I feel like that song was super infectious and had a rare vibe in a league of its own. It was good for pre-gaming, mobbin out, and also closing the night."

Michael Christmas

Earl Sweatshirt f/ Wiki, "AM // Radio"

"Me and Stizz would wake up everyday and smoke to that song in LA before our adventures. Wiki's verse is one of my favorites probably ever. It kinda has that sentimental value because of the times we bumped it and how many times it would get run back lol."

Lil Durk

Future, "Last Breath"

"It's a motivational song cause Future talks about how everyone counted him out. I identify with that."

Jarryd James

Kendrick Lamar, "King Kunta"

"I love pretty much everything that Kendrick has done, and To Pimp a Butterfly is such a great album that is much more than just a list of songs. I would never claim to be able to comprehend the context of this song but I think it is such a passionate piece of music, especially when you realize some of the historical references Kendrick makes."

Becky G

Tory Lanez, "Say It"

"Because who doesn't love a smooth RnB voice and that old school feel!?"

PnB ROCK

Kehlani, “You Should Be Here”

"Kehlani is so dope. She’s so talented and her energy is just good. The song is one of my favorites from her album. The vibe of it is just right."

Alex Tumay

Tei Shi, "See Me"

"If I went off most played lately it'd be something off of Vince Staples Summertime '06 or Mas Ysa's Seraph (or 'Hotline Bling' due to Be El Be). It could easily be a Youth Lagoon, Heems, Chance, Blood Orange, Future, Empress Of, Lil Uzi, Deerhunter, or Neon Indian track. There's also artists I think people should know about like Redd Coldhearted and Ariel Ariel. If I could pick a song by anyone obviously it would be a Young Thug one. This is maybe the hardest question I've been asked, because I don't ever really think in terms of favorites. I'm going to go with importance and choose a song that I've used all year to calm me down when it's been hard to keep up. Tei Shi 'See Me.' Really, that whole EP. Oh yeah, and go buy 'Best Friend' on iTunes."
