As recently as early May, fans were convinced Lil Wayne and Birdman were on good terms once again, following a long squabble over financial details at Cash Money. Not so fast! Wayne appears to have killed that idea, with a recent concert video emerging that shows Wayne calling out his mentor and boss by name.

In footage that circulated around social media like wildfire, Wayne lays it out real clear for the Cash Money mogul: "Birdman, you can suck my dick!"

It's not entirely clear upon viewing the video where it took place, but there's some anecdotal evidence that it happened on Saturday evening during a scheduled performance at Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub in Las Vegas. In other pictures taken of Wayne at the nightclub, he appears to be wearing the same clothes in the video.

With Wayne fans still waiting for him to drop Tha Carter V, any further disputes between the rapper and his boss appear to put the album further in the distance. So while Wayne attacking Birdman makes for good theater, it's also sort of a bummer to see him sparring with the man he has called his "daddy" in the past.

Wayne signaled a looming partnership with Jay Z and Roc Nation in previous months, which could complicate his legal battle with Cash Money, and openly confronting Birdman could either spurn change or end in an even messier divorce. It's hard to say where this is headed, but if we've reached the point where Wayne is openly chiding his former mentor, things may get a whole lot worse before they get better.
