Last year, Tee Grizzley made an emphatic entrance into the hip-hop scene with his positively received project My Moment. Among the songs, "First Day Out" became a highlight on the album (LeBron James would record himself enjoying the hit), aiding him in garnering nationwide recognition. He quickly became a rapper known for his real raps and fierce delivery, and his growing discography became the embodiment of the life he was actually living prior to stardom.

Fast-forward one year later, and Grizzley's work ethic has only increased. After releasing Activated earlier this year, the rapper returns with Still My Moment, and just like his previous offerings, it proves to be another powerful addition to his catalog.

Grizzley calls upon a handful of his peers to help diversify the mixtape's overall sound. Lil Pump, an artist with whom he previously collaborated, was tapped to craft "Bitches on Bitches." In addition, tracks such as the socially conscious "Wake Up," which features Chance the Rapper, are contrasted with high energy bangers like "Pray for the Drip," on which Migos' Offset makes an appearance. Grizzley also recruits another Migos member, Quavo, as well as Bryan Hamilton and YNW Melly to round out the project.

A majority of the production is handled by Helluva, who has been a go-to collaborator for Grizzley. With additional production from Tay Keith and CuBeatz, Still My Moment proves to be a versatile project with gritty street energy that is further refined, exemplifying the artist's growth.
