We won't fault you for not realizing that there's more to this week's dance music releases than Daft Punk's return, Random Access Memories. We tried to space it out, giving you everything from new drum & bass to the abstract. And a Zedd remix. Just don't fret. There is currently more to dance music life than Daft Punk (but not much).

Alix Perez' sophomore album, Chroma Chords, isn't the drum & bass fest that some sites might make you believe it is. He explores whatever genre he loves, and has crafted a welcome return in LP form to his style. Contender for album of the year (yeah, we said it).
