Queens, New York's own Meyhem Lauren has aligned himself with A-Trak's mighty Fool's Gold Records for his upcoming free album, Piatto D'Oro, his first full-length since Silk Pyramids. And if "Bonus Round" is any indicator, this project is going to be a BEAST.
Over a truly luxurious instrumental from Harry Fraud, Meyhem is joined by Roc Marciano, Action Bronson, and Big Body Bes (who does his thing on the outro), with everyone doing their best to craft that magnificent cold weather hip-hop. The whole squad beats the beat up like the Street Fighter II bonus round whip in the art. There are a number of standout lines on the project, but overall Roc Marc might've taken it with his verse. This record bring a tear to a thug's eye.
There's no word on when Piatto D'Oro is dropping, but free material this fire? We need that like yesterday.
