On Tuesday afternoon, Joey Badass announced via Twitter that "due to unforeseen circumstances," he'd be cancelling the Cleveland, Chicago, and Toronto shows he had lined up for Logic's Everybody's Tour.
We reached out to a rep for Joey who confirmed the cancellations but did not provide additional details. For most people, that didn't matter anyway, as a pair of tweets from Joey's account on Monday led to some intriguing speculation regarding why Joey might've pulled out from these dates.
Fans who saw the post from Monday immediately hopped on the "Badass cancelled his shows because he's lowkey blind from staring at the eclipse sans glasses" train.
Now, that's not to say that any of this is true. Maybe Joey is just working on his new sneaker deal. If it does have something to do with the solar eclipse, we wish he'd have just checked our last-minute eclipse guide.
