Were you thinking that Skrillex and Diplo's Jack Ü project—which not only includes their gold-selling debut album and the triple-platinum worldwide hit collaboration with Justin Bieber, "Where Are Ü Now"—was over and done with? Not at all. Their collaboration with Kai (who's recently worked with the likes of Flume), "Mind," is getting a HUGE remix release featuring new takes form Wiwek, Ekali & Gravez, Happy Colors, and more, but today we have a monster of a take from Malaa for you.
You remember Malaa, right? Malaa's the mysterious project that many speculate is linked to EDM DJ Snake and Tchami that released the huge tune "Fade" via Tchami's Confession imprint back in February. For this take on "Mind," Malaa punches up the slower, lower original, making something that is both perfect for the festival massive and the darker, bassier house havens worldwide. Kai's beautiful vocals are kept intact, with some of the quirkier fills still being incorporated, but "Mind" gets the higher energy shot in the arm that many EDM heads need for their sweet release.
