BJ The Chicago Kid does something unexpected for the concept video to his sultry single "Strawberry Bubblegum." Cutting scenes from Hype Williams' seminal movie "Belly" to create a different story, the One Take TV and Davy Greenberg project gives the movie a new look that lends itself to the idea of the movie possibly being updated for a new generation. BJ's singing matches the vivid cinematography perfectly, as scenes are mirrored to the song to connect at the right moments. As a whole, the video itself is a great piece of nostalgia for one of hip-hop's most revered movies, set to a soulful song. Watch "Strawberry Bubblegum" above.
