Tinashe Brings Out Her Spicy Alter Ego on “Throw a Fit”

Just months after dropping the hotly anticipated full-length album 'Joyride' and just weeks after releasing another new song called "Like I Used To," Tinashe is back with the fiery new track, "Throw A Fit."

It looks like Tinashe is truly putting all of her relationship drama behind her as she continues to release new music. On Thursday night, the 25-year-old singer has released a brand new track titled “Throw A Fit.”

“She the shit/Yeah, she’s super lit/She know she the shit/If you don’t buy her what she want, she gon’ throw a fit,” Tinashe sing on the Hitmaka-produced track.

Speaking of Hitmaka, he has apparently done more than just produce one track for Tinashe. In June, the producer tweeted about an upcoming studio album from the singer titled Nashe.

Late last night, Tinashe explained that Nashe is an alter-ego that is not to be confused with the artist we already know. Nashe "doesn't give a hint of a fuck," "drinks champagne exclusively instead of water, typically with a straw," and "makes these hoes extremely uncomfortable," just to name a few.

This is the second song the artist has released in as many weeks: “Like I Used To” came out earlier this month and was ostensibly about her previous relationship with 76ers' Ben Simmons. The song was produced by Smash David and Hitmaka as well. Considering both “Like I Used To” and “Throw A Fit” have the same cover art, it looks like the evidence for a new project is stacking up. Joyride, Tinashe's last full-length, dropped just last April.
