With the Pacha ICONS season in Dubai underway, Playa Pacha has become the heartbeat of FIVE LUXE JBR’s day and eventful night, drawing hotel guests, live-in residents, and the visiting partygoers into a lavish communion of music, culture and wonderful sights.
Alongside FIVE Palm Jumeirah, the two resorts are examples of state-of-the-art architecture, bohemian elegance, and world-class curated entertainment. FIVE Hotels & Resorts have long been synonymous with glamorous aesthetics, world-renowned dining and immersive party spaces. Since FIVE Holdings’ acquisition of The Pacha Group, the endeavour has been clear: to transport the spirit of Ibiza’s legendary nightlife into Dubai’s luxury landscape. Over the past decade, Dubai has become a central hub for business, relocation and, increasingly, nightlife. This evolution is central to FIVE’s identity, positioning itself as a group dedicated to world-class entertainment in the city.
Set against the Arabian Gulf, FIVE LUXE JBR epitomises indulgence. Guest balconies overlook Playa Pacha’s pools, sunbeds, DJ decks and beachfront, which has stunning views of the Jumeirah Beach Residences, Ain Dubai, and the Palm Jumeirah. During the day, Playa Pacha operates as a private pool and beach club; at night, it transforms into a colourful night beach club, illuminated by digital displays and towering lights. Through Pacha ICONS, an elite roster of global house and electronic artists—including Carl Cox, Peggy Gou, PAWSA and Marco Carola—show how committed FIVE are to growing the venue’s cultural relevance.
Experiencing PAWSA’s set in November felt reminiscent of Ibiza’s West End energy, yet it was much more refined. Missing were the chaotic, disorienting elements Ibiza is famed for, which are replaced by a spacious, polished environment that retains the island’s spontaneity. A night revelling in PAWSA’s tech-house mastery ignited that Ibizan spirit: a welcoming crowd—young and old, wild and carefree—and staff tirelessly working to keep everything in steady flow. The crowd, an eclectic mix of travellers and Dubai-based residents, embraced the atmosphere, seeing Playa Pacha as a focal point in the city’s nightlife.
As the night continued, the remnants of Playa Pacha flowed seamlessly into Paradiso Dubai—the rooftop cocktail bar on the ninth floor. Paradiso Dubai, sister venue to Barcelona’s award-winning bar of the same name, is curated by celebrated mixologist Giacomo Giannotti. Its surrealist cocktails, artistic presentation and panoramic views of the city compound Spanish flair with Dubai grandeur. Recognised by Time Out Dubai for both drinks and bar food, Paradiso has become an essential afterparty destination. In contrast, Goose Island Tap House offers a more relaxed, pub-style experience. Reminiscent of many newly-raised gastropubs in gentrified parts of London, it shows sports and offers a great range of beers, but not equipped with the mugginess of an aged British pub.
Meanwhile, FIVE Palm Jumeirah mirrors Ibiza’s beach-club culture through Praia, Bohemia Beach Club and The Penthouse Dubai. Praia’s central pool club bellows with music throughout the day, while Bohemia Beach Club delivers sunset sessions and high-profile night events reminiscent of Playa d’en Bossa. The Penthouse Dubai, perched on the 16th floor, crowns the experience with panoramic marina views, international performers and elevated dining and nightlife. Through these venues, FIVE Hotels & Resorts have carefully curated an Ibiza-inspired ecosystem. Less raw, more refined, but unmistakably electric. It reflects both the evolution of Dubai and a new interpretation of the island’s famed party spirit: polished, immersive, and relentlessly curated.
To end the year at FIVE Palm Jumeirah, Bohemia Beach Club will feature sets from Fabrice, DiOSA, Gordo and Sonny Fodera for a New Year’s Eve special celebration. For tickets and more info, including what’s on in 2026, head here.
